Coast to Coast Coverage / Transportation: A-Z Liquidation & partners will arrange pickup and delivery of PC used computer systems, off-lease laptops, and monitors or data center networking equipment. Please note* Transportation fees may be are included in the service depending on situation.
Managed IT disposal and IT logistics: Our asset recovery logistics agent will contact the customer-designated contact to schedule a pickup. Pickups will be scheduled during normal business hours Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm local time unless otherwise noted. Any changes to pick ups already scheduled must be done with a minimum of 48 hours notice from the pickup date.
Customer packed equipment: A-Z designated partners will pick up the equipment from a ground level location on the customer site allowing for easy loading and removal of equipment.
A-Z Liquidation / Partners packed equipment requirements: A-Z Liquidation requires customer to arrange packing unless otherwise noted in the agreement. A-Z will require the be on a central ground level location of the customer site for removal purposes. Please note: U.S. only. Pickups. Items greater than 60 pounds may incur additional shipping charges if noted in agreement.
Asset Recovery Value Recovery Processing: Computer, network surplus equipment receipt, recording, and tag removal will be handled by at A-Z Liquidation & Partners which includes sorting, testing, and audits at our corporate headquarters. We will determine equipment for
resale, recycling or disposal of equipment with no value. Unless an agreement is in place prior to pick up.
For each personal computer, monitor printer, network hardware excess equipment; A-Z Liquidation requires, model numbers, Manufacturer, if possible, serial numbers, and property/asset tag numbers. For all other items, we require weight and a description
sufficient to identify the item. A-Z Liquidation or a designated partner assumes all responsibility and will remove all customer property/asset tags from equipment.
For each personal computer unit, monitor, printer, router, switch, etc. our liquidation agent will sort the equipment based on the possible resale remarketing opportunity of the equipment. Once all the equipment is sorted, we then will be able to
determine which equipment has resale value by testing functionality and cosmetic testing.
For all equipment please record the cosmetic and functional condition of the inventory equipment:
- Grade A: Used equipment, complete and functional with normal wear and tear
- Grade B: Used equipment missing components or with cosmetic.
- Grade C: Used equipment that must be recycled. Equipment is no longer marketable, is missing major components or is cosmetically damaged so that it cannot be resold.
IT Asset Management / Deployment Services - Value Asset Recovery Service Required Information: Detailed equipment configuration helps when evaluating equipment. Please include amount of Ram, Number and size of Hard Drives, Floppy Drives, Processor Speed, CD-Rom Speed, Video Cards, Modems/Network cards, Media devices such as
tape back up, etc.
Technology equipment, which fails the functionality or cosmetic requirements, will be considered equipment that needs to be recycled or disposed of. Computer equipment, which meets the functional and cosmetic requirements, will be resold based on the used equipment secondary
market to subscribed members of our subscribed buyer members consisting of information technology dealers, service providers, exporters, resellers or corporate, educational, financial and government agencies.
Prior to the resale of the equipment, A-Z liquidators will perform a destructive overwrite process or physical destruction of each hard drive received.
Enterprise-wide procedure for PC disposal: A-Z Computers , in association with our liquidation, asset recovery and recycling partners will dispose of used equipment in such a manner as to meet the EPA, Local,
State, and Federal requirements and guidelines.
Customer Responsibilities ( MIS, IT, CEO, Information Technology Managers / Department Heads) : Customer will provide a representative on site the day of the pick up to direct logistics provider to the equipment designated for removal. Customer will be responsible for any
costs incurred if the incorrect equipment is identified and sent for shipment. Penalties may me applied according to any contractual arrangement made between A-Z and the customer company.
- Customer will ensure equipment shipped is only computer hardware equipment.
- Customer will pack and consolidate the agreed upon equipment needing to be removed within at least 100ft. of the pick-up loading area for easy loading.
- Packaging will include pallets, shrink-wrapping and all other protective measures of equipment.
- Customer will be responsible for any damaged equipment.
Units need to be stacked on pallets in a uniform manner, with equipment facing one direction. We ask units are palletized according to like pieces. Stacking should be done in the following order:
- By Pallet
- Sheet / count included.
- Row of units – facing the same direction
- Not to exceed 5 feet tall
Packed and ready to be shipped equipment should be made available for pickup at the time and date agreed upon by the customer and the shipping or trucking agent. Please note* Bulk systems received in excess of the amount agreed upon, will be billed to the customer at the system price for the complete recycling service.
Software Back-up / Please note* A-Z Liquidation does not accept liability for lost or confidential data or any software. It is the customer’s responsibility to backup any data or software they need to retain.
